Overflowing

At times I feel as though my heart is going to burst like a dam under the pressure of flood waters, whether it is anger, sadness, loneliness, joy, peace, or love. It reminds me of Psalm 23:5 where David recounts how God has taken care of him in troubled times and how God blesses him abundantly, even as a cup runneth over.
